Former mayor Willie Brown and his ladyfriend Sonya Molodetskaya recently stopped into Tres Agaves on their way to the ballpark, and Willie was less than pleased. “Enchiladas tasted like they had been frozen and not quite thawed. Sonya wasn’t feeling well and needed soup. That didn’t work either; it was just not edible. It was a generous portion but much too spicy. That was followed by sausage in a skillet that looked terrific but turned out to be very disappointing. If some of the spice from the soup had gone on the sausage it might have been able to mask the off flavor in the meat… So, if you go to Tres Agaves, stay in the bar.
