SF Gate blogger Beth Spotswood, who’s previously shared her thoughts on the more touristy, ill-advised restaurant corners of town, scored an invite out to dine with the Michaels, Bauer and Murphy. What did she learn? Bauer has a fabulous deck with great views. He takes iPhone photos of everything he eats these days, in order to remember it. He’s about to review someplace new in the East Bay which she can’t identify, but we have a couple of parenthetical guesses (Locanda da Eva, Revival Bar & Kitchen, eVe). Mostly, though, she was “pleased not to have brought dog poo from my shoe into their car, you know? It a the personal triumph over my array of flaws.” [SF Gate]
