Grub Street has confirmed the Boston Restaurant Talk speculation that Thai eatery Rod Dee will be opening a location in Cambridge’s Porter Square very soon. Rod Dee manager Sittithep Krajangsart says the new restaurant will be located at 1906 Mass Ave, close to the Porter Square Red Line T stop. “It’s in progress right now. Fingers are crossed that it will open in four to five weeks, right before Halloween,” Krajangsart tells Grub Street. As for the rumors of Rod Dee returning to Brookline’s Coolidge Corner, Krajansart says, “There will definitely be good news soon.” Rod Dee left Coolidge Corner in July after fifteen years in the neighborhood and will likely be welcomed back to the area with open arms.
