
Breakfast business is booming everywhere from The Stanhope Grille to Eastern Standard and it’s all because the morning is the hot new time for meetings, according to the Globe. And why not? Breakfast is the cheapest meal of the day, and, as MIT’s David C. Schmittlein puts it, “Breakfast meetings have the advantage of a relatively fresh start, during a part of the day that is forward-looking and optimistic.” Even Legal Sea Foods is getting in on the action, launching breakfast at its Kendall Square location later this summer.
