Like the old saying goes, when one door closes, another opens. And those words ring exceptionally true in the case of Muntin. The sushi-meets-Thai spot replaced Misso at 13th and Spruce Streets back in May, and quietly closed its doors a few weeks ago, according to Midtown Lunch. But before mourning its loss, there’s some good news: it’s already been replaced by another pan-Asian restaurant named Hasu. Meanwhile, across town at Columbus Blvd. and Wharton streets Beer Heaven: The Craft Beer Store has opened two doors down from the Philadelphia Bagel Company, according to the Beer Lass. The six-pack shop will feature (duh) craft beer and sandwiches sold to go.

That was quick! Muntin was replaced by Hasu [Midtown Lunch]
Beer Heaven on Columbus Blvd is now OPEN [Beer Lass]
