Center City’s Sofitel is getting Liberté, a new “urban chic” upgrade of the hotel’s lobby bar, ready for an October opening. Details are few, but according to a press release the new bar-lounge-restaurant will feature sexy, modern furniture, an oval-shaped bar, working fireplace and a more formal dining area. The menu will feature contemporary French-inspired dishes, and the the bar will specialize in mixing artisan cocktails. No chef or menu specifics have been announced yet. Expect updates soon.
