JFK Crossing Gets a Taste of Cognac

Well, that was fast! Just a few days after b. good announced the closing of its Brookline shop, Kouzina owner Nelson Cognac tells the Brookline TAB that he’ll open Cognac Bistro in the same space. Cognac Bistro will offer French bistro fare, sushi, and of course, an ample selection of its namesake brandy. As a Waban business owner, Cognac isn’t daunted by the lack of foot traffic that doomed b. good: “If you want a place without foot traffic, come to Waban.” Cognac hopes to open by mid-October.

And with that, we’re out for the long weekend! Enjoy your Labor Day and we’ll see you right back here on Tuesday morning.
