Island Creek Oyster Bar isn’t set to open for another month or so, but the Jeremy Sewall/Garrett Harker/Skip Bennett spot is already staffing up with some pretty exciting folks. Former Craigie On Main mixologist Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli and Eastern Standard’s Bob McCoy are both on board, according to reliable source drinkboston. Schlesinger-Guidelli will be Island Creek’s general manager and McCoy will manage the bar, overseeing a list featuring wine and cocktails along the restaurant’s signature Pretty Things beer.
In other bartender shuffle news, post-Schlesigner-Guidelli Craigie mixologist Paul Manzilli has left the restaurant to oversee Bergamot’s cocktail program. This is a pretty exciting development for Camberville’s cocktail scene.
Correction: Spokesperson Marlo Fogelman tells us the Pretty Things beer has been shelved.
