
There’s new ownership and a new name over at Los Feliz’s wood-fire driven Il Capriccio Pizza. Under Frank Caruso, the Hollywood Blvd, Italian is now called Di Carlo. One thing that’s staying close to the original are traditional pies cooked with almond-wood, featuring gourmet versions topped with forest mushrooms, goat cheese, and Italian sausage, as well as panini on house-baked bread, prepared dough to-go, and daily blackboard specials.
