Evanston’s City Council voted yesterday to legalize food trucks, paving the way for honest chefs to actually cook in their trucks. This is exciting for north suburban food truck enthusiasts, and such operations as the Hummingbird Kitchen. Unfortunately, this has no bearing on food trucks in Chicago, where they still must package everything up before they head out on the road. It does, however, make us extremely jealous. Thanks a lot.
