Moreton Fig opened at USC late last month with a menu co-produced by Bradley Ogden. So why has it taken so long for anyone to get inside? The restaurant is tucked away inside of the brand-new Ronald Tutor Campus Center, all the better to keep the professors who flood this place away from kiss-ass students seeking real extra-credit and scarier, those oversexed stalker students who want “extra credit.” Nonetheless, Moreton Fig is open to the public for mahi-mahi sliders, stonefruit bruschetta, deviled ranch eggs, bacon-wrapped meatloaf, and (whoo-hoo!) cocktails. Take a look at our slide show of the LEED-certified 8,000-square-foot restaurant, including the massive trees on its outdoor patio that give the restaurant its name.
