Almost there….
We first heard about Blokes & Birds back in May, when the “contemporary English gastropub with an ear for classic rock” planned on opening in late-June. Obviously that didn’t happen, and so much time passed that we kind of forgot about the place. But now it looks like the opening date is officially mid-October. The Lakeview restaurant promises an English pub menu, with over 24 beers on top. As we also learned last May, the music will be 70s and 80s British rock, so prepare yourself for some serious Joy Division coming out of the speakers.
