Following his appearance at a fundraiser for Democratic Senate candidate Joe Sestak yesterday at the convention center, President Barack Obama made an unannounced detour to Reading Terminal Market for a bite to eat, uwishunu reports. At Carmen’s Famous Italian Hoagies and Cheesesteaks, the President ordered four cheesesteaks — with Cheese Whiz, mushrooms and sweet peppers — to go. He also bought another cheesesteak for one onlooker, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and some apples after Fair Food Farmstand’s Federico Santoyo suggested that the President get something healthy to go with his cheesesteaks.
