This past Saturday, Kobi Tobiano opened Tarte Tatin on Olympic in Beverly Hills. The former pastry chef at Charles Nob Hill in San Francisco, Tobiano makes most of the eats in-house, from pastries and baked goods to the stuff sold on shelves like his vanilla extract, jams, granola, snow cookies, and pita chips. He also guarantees everything to be all natural and free of artificial preservatives. In addition to extensive tea and coffee offerings, classic sandwiches and salads, as well as Israeli breakfast, are also served in this clean white space that was designed by Tobiano, with help from friends Noam Helper and Lizi Ederi. Check out our slide show of the pastries, space, and full menus.
