What to Eat at Back Bay Social Club, Serving Up Shaved Watermelon Salad

Back Bay Social Club, the Patrick Lyons spot we told you about back in February, is now open in the former home of Vinny T’s at 867 Boylston Street, and we’ve got your first look at the menu. This is the second big opening in a week for the Lyons Group, following Towne by just a few days. Three guesses as to the focus of Back Bay Social Club’s menu. Yes! Upscale comfort food! All the totems are there: pork belly (braised in beer and served with fava beans and pickled onions), roast chicken (a bird from Giannone Farms, served with maple-glazed carrots and fingerling potatoes), a $21 burger (topped with smothered onions and cheddar), and, of course, chicken and waffles (a Monday night special).
