What to Eat at Henri, Spinning Off From the Gage Tomorrow

The Gage launches its spinoff restaurant tomorrow right next door — the spot, Henri, promises to be a very different place than its big brother. Named for architect Louis Henri Sullivan, the “father of modernism” who designed the Auditorium theater, the Chicago Stock Exchange and The Gage Building that gives the Gage its name, the restaurant promises Contemporary American fare, but the menu reads decidedly French: steak tartare with a quail egg, rabbit consomme with rabbit agnolotti, and a decadent-sounding lobster wellington with foie gras.
