A couple weeks ago Grub Street mentioned that M Restaurant, the gorgeous hideaway that’s home to one of the city’s most magnificent gardens at the historic Morris House Hotel, was getting a new chef, Michael Caspi. The Israel born chef has an impressive resume with stints at Thomas Keller’s Per Se, Daniel Boulud’s namesake restaurant and most recently, Stephen Starr’s Parc. Caspi’s new menus, which launched this week, showcase locally sourced seasonal produce and sustainably raised meats and seafood. Along with a new chef and new menus, M has expanded its hours and will now serve dinner nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. and brunch on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click through to see some of the menu’s highlights, and let us know with a comment which of Caspi’s dishes look the most appetizing.
