Steve Jobs Dines at St. Francis Fountain, Mike Miller Takes a New Gig, and More

Mission: Steve Jobs has been all over the Mission lately, made to wait like the rest of us outside Flour + Water, and then spotted outside St. Francis Fountain over the weekend. [Uptown Almanac]
Also, Hapa SF has set a new date, August 14, for a Pulutan pop-up dinner at La Victoria. [SFoodie]
San Jose: Mike Miller, formerly the chef at the now closed, Michelin-starred Travese in Los Gatos, has taken a new gig at a private club in downtown San Jose called the Silicon Valley Capital Club. It’s on the 17th floor at 50 West San Fernando, and they’re planning to open to the public on select evenings in the near future. [Food Gal]
Cow Hollow/Marina: CC’s Pierce Street Manor (2417 Lombard), which got snapped up by nearby sports bar Monaghan’s a few months back, will reopen soon as CC’s Cocktail Lounge. [Grub Street]

Fillmore: Bumzy’s Cookies has just opened at Fillmore and O’Farrell. [Eater]
Japantown: In the same “Bermuda Triangle” [hat tip: Eater] that sucked up Cassis last week, Neecha Thai (2100 Sutter Street) has also shuttered. They still have a second Oakland location. [Eater]
Mission Extra: Starting Wednesday, Pal’s Takeaway will be featuring a weekly sandwich by a guest chef, starting with Josh Capone, sous chef at Orson, and following up next week with Chris Cosentino’s ‘Mess Piggy.’ [SFoodie]
