Now here’s a natural: view the fighter jets buzzing downtown’s skyscrapers from the restaurant at the top of one of them. Specifically, Chicago’s highest restaurant, The Signature Room at the top of the John Hancock building. During this weekend’s Air & Water Show, chef Patrick Sheerin will be cooking up a comfy-looking buffet ranging from eggs benedict to fried chicken, while the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and other precision fliers make the windows rattle. It’s this Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 4, and it’ll set you back $100 a seat, but at 95 stories, it’s surely the best seat in town. [312DiningDiva]
