Non-shockers: According to the Post, McSorley’s, White Horse Tavern, and Di Fara recently got C-worthy grades on their health inspections. Somewhat more surprising: The new Shake Shack UES, which recently added a C-line for crowd flow, managed to get a C-worthy grade before it even had food on site. Of course, all of these grades are subject to reinspection and appeal, but we encourage McSorley’s and White Horse, at least, to display their Cs with pride, preferably adjacent to an Old Town–esque piece of their mind.
