Chef Sevan Azarian has reportedly left Te’Kila, departing within three weeks of the restaurant’s opening. The chef surprised us with very capable carnitas at this Hollywood hot spot, which was overrun by the young owners’ friends at a preview. Perhaps he’s bringing his skills where they’ll be better appreciated or maybe Mex-fixated chefs are fleeing while foodie federales like General Gold patrol our restaurantes.
