Without Michelle and his kids, many people speculated where President Obama would spend his seemingly lonely 49th birthday in Chicago. Old favorites like Topolobampo and Spiaggia were brought up, while some wondered whether he’d keep a low profile with a takeout pizza from Italian Fiesta. Turns out he wasn’t that lonely after all, instead spending the night at Graham Elliot, with Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King as guests. Of course, it took all of about two hours before a picture came out, and an official statement from the Masterchef himself, “The GE team was humbled & honored to have the President celebrate his birthday at the restaurant tonight.” According to the 312 Dining Diva, the whole staff sang happy birthday to him.
