Just so you know: A restaurant can have mice droppings on the floor and still receive an A grade. That’s exactly what happened at the Upper West Side Barnes & Noble café, according to DNA Info. And yet Barney Greengrass got a C-worthy grade for not keeping smoked fish cold enough, among other reasons (but then what does the “Sturgeon King” know about fish)? The Daily News points out that in New York, the presence of a rodent is only a five-point violation (still within A range), whereas in Los Angeles it can be grounds for a restaurant’s closure. That is some Mickey Mouse shit right there …
