…And the winner looks to be, if we had to guess: Taqueria La Altena. Debates over Mission burritos usually come down to the rivalry of Taqueria Cancun and El Farolito. The guy doing this particular tour of the big, cheap, rice bombs known as Mission-style burritos has crowned Farolito #2, with another fave, Papalote coming in at #5, based on a rating system accounting for price, size, and meat quality/flavor. He’s revealing #1 later today, but in previous posts he gave higher ratings to Taqueria La Altena than to Cancun, which he calls merely “pretty good.” Update: Yep, we called it.
