The deli at Little Dom’s is rolling out “Sno Balls,” a New Orleans treat of shaved ice with syrups made in-house and mind-boggling toppings like creme fraiche and evaporated milk. While probably not as habit-forming as speed-balls, flavors like raspberry, nectar cream with fresh almond, chocolate, and espresso sound like they offer a foodier cold crush than the average everyday sno-cone when trying to beat the heat.
