We all heard the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck was coming to town, but in actual fact it was just its founder Douglas Quint, who’s here for the SF Street Food Conference going on yesterday and today. Humphry Slocombe threw him a big, gay party yesterday on 24th Street, complete with a bevy of drag queens, Glinda the Good Witch from Beach Blanket Babylon, the Go-Gos’ Jane Wiedlin, and a special, limited edition sundae called the Tranny Smackdown, which had Trix sprinkled on it. Also, Jonathan Kauffman was there.
