As Grub Street first reported, chef Dominique Crenn of Luce at the Intercontinental is going to be appearing this Sunday on Iron Chef America, competing against Michael Symon. She can’t reveal what the secret ingredient is, but she gave a quick interview to Food Gal discussing her comeraderie with Symon, and how she thinks cooking competitions are sort of “bullshit” anyway. “Food is where talent should come together and evolution should happen… It’s a craft, and it has been for centuries.” Watch Chef Crenn battle it out at 9 p.m. on Sunday.
