Culver City-adjacent Middle-Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant Almaza is usually pretty easy to pass without a second glance while driving on Venice Blvd, looking like some sort of strange extension of Goodwill, with shared signage on a massive tan wall. But both the street and the restaurant are on their way towards improving by the coming completion of a huge new outdoor patio space to place its hookahs and kebab combos. In addition to further distinguishing itself with the al fresco option, the restaurant also appears to have a beer and wine license pending. Owners tell us the patio should be totally finished in a couple of weeks.
