White Heron Grill, an unfussy bistro that replaced Blackfish in Stone Harbor, has been flying under the radar since opening in April. Today it rolled out a new menu. Chef Carl Messick, formerly of the Ebbitt Room, the restaurant at Cape May’s swanky Virginia Hotel, has created a menu inspired by classic Shore dishes that range in price from $8 to $35. Highlights include local clams on the half shell and jumbo lump crab cakes served in the dining room, and Jersey steamers and individual pizzettes served at the bar.
