Where to Taste Alex Reznik’s Recipes From Top Chef

Not to be outdone by Water Grill and its Top Chef contestant putting the dishes she makes on television onto the restaurant’s table, Cafe Was is pushing executive chef Alex Reznik front and center, too. Every Wednesday, Reznik is preparing the dishes that he cooked on the show, like his borscht short ribs from episode one, which are available for only four bucks from 7:30 to 10:00 P.M. each Wednesday evening, along with four dollar cocktails to pair. This Saturday and Sunday, Reznik is playing grill-master on the patio at Was and preparing the dishes he made on the last barbecue-heavy episode. Expect BBQ chicken and pork, potato salad, baked beans, and some extras for nineteen dollars a plate, as well as views of Vine and Reznik’s bald pate.
