Thad Vogler, the local bar star who formerly opened joints like Beretta and Bourbon & Branch and has done stints at Jardinière and Heaven’s Dog, reveals his cocktail menu today to the Scoop for the much-anticipated, long-delayed Bar Agricole (355 11th Street). Vogler also created the totally local and seasonal bar program for Camino in Oakland, where even the spirits are local and at some point in the year you won’t have limes. This prompts Jon Bonné to ask if Bar Agricole hopes to be “the Chez Panisse of cocktails,” and Vogler replies, “Yeah, but for the right reasons. We want to be around [for a while].” See the full list below, featuring Vogler’s back-to-basics mixology that is meant to celebrate each ingredient, just like Alice intended.

Bar Agricole, with its LEED-certified interior and food menu by Brandon Jew (Magnolia Pub, Quince) is aiming for an August 15 opening, just in time (possibly) to go head to head with new SoMa neighbor Una Pizza Napoletana.
