Manresa chef and Beard Award-winner David Kinch is one of a group of chefs featured in an upcoming PBS series called Food Forward, which profiles people who are making positive changes in the way people eat. While the beneficiaries of the biodynamic magic of Manresa’s garden are only the lucky diners who eat there, the series hopes to use the small-scale examples of people like Kinch to make for a less depressing documentary than, say, Food Inc. Watch below as Kinch goes surfing off the Northern California coast, and shows off his garden where fish heads get buried under the plants.
