The Italian invasion continues with two new restaurants landing in Encino and Mar Vista. First there’s the news that Trattoria Farfalla, found already in Los Feliz, is bringing its pastas, paninis, piatti, and pizzas to a brand new space on Encino’s main drag. A manager tells us to expect an opening from this second location in about a month. Find full Farfalla menus online in the meantime. Over in Mar Vista, Venecian Pizza and Pasta, which we first spotted flying its colors just two weeks back, opened its doors on Venice Blvd. The casual eatery has a quick-service option of pizzas by the slice or pie, as well as calzone and subs among other dishes familiar to a fast, family pizza joint.
