Rod Dee in Coolidge Corner Set To Close

The Thai restaurant Rod Dee, located on the outskirts of Coolidge Corner in Brookline, is set to close next week, reports Boston Restaurant Talk. The small shop, which has few tables and handles mostly take-out, has been on Beacon Street for 15 years. Rod Dee 2, in the Fenway, was destroyed by fire in 2009, and New Rod Dee opened shortly after that in Brookline. The original location and New Rod Dee are less than a mile apart. New Rod Dee, which has a greater seating capacity, will remain open.
