Panini Cafe, found in locations from O.C. to the Valley, will soon open its seventh store, this one headed to Glendale Galleria. The restaurant has a big menu, visible online, of namesake breakfast, lunch, and dinner sandwiches, as well as Italian-influenced salads, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean appetizers like dolmadas, hummus, and baba ganouj, a signature salmon panino, and wraps with koobideh and falafel. A short wine list isn’t much to sniff at, but it’s affordable, while an espresso bar adds Cafe Cubano to a hearty mix of European offerings. Pizza, pasta, and desserts are also included, with the company ensuring fresh and made-from-scratch recipes on its website. Update: A reader correctly corrects us in saying Panini is actually bound for Americana next door.
