Aaaaaaaaa! Here it is! The news everyone’s been waiting for. Amy Pressman, Bill Chait, and Nancy Silverton are formally announcing their burger joint, cutting through the conjecture a year later. A press release tells us it will be named Short Order and will open this winter in the O.G. Farmers Market on Fairfax. Short Order will be a fast casual burger joint taking over two floors designed by architect Osvaldo Maiozzi. Burgers will be made from a proprietary Silverton blend (from nearby Huntington Meats) of Sonoma grass fed beef cooked on wood-burning grills, and there are promises to “underscore the reinvention of classic burgers” with pork, lamb, fish, and tofu varieties as well. Homemade toppings of different aiolis, mustard, ketchup, and spreads will be complimented by signature classic sides, apps, salads, and house-made desserts. Custard-based milkshakes, Cali wines, and tap craft brews will help it all go down. Can’t wait til winter? You can try one next week if you look below for details.

This Tuesday, July 13th, Pressman will debut a menu item called “Ida’s Old School Burger.” Try one, or die trying, at Huntington Meats and Sausage (Third and Fairfax) during Taste of Farmer’s Market from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. Warning: You will not be alone!

Short Order, open this winter at 6333 West Third St. Los Angeles.
