JG Domestic Fine Food & Spirits, the farm-to-table-ish restaurant from Jose Garces that’s slated for a September opening at the Cira Center, will feature vertical gardens and a large communal table, with real live trees growing through it, the Restaurant Club reports. It will also have a Garces Trading Company coffee shop stretching out into the building’s lobby. And that is just one of several projects the Iron Chef has on his to-do list for this coming fall. Other new points of interest springing forth include details on Guapos Tacos, the Garces taco truck that’s supposed to roll out onto the streets in coming months.

Guapos Tacos will be a joint venture between Garces and his longtime designer Jun Aizaki, who created the look and feel of Garces’ restaurants going all the way back to Amada. The truck will feature a mosaic design scheme created with 40,000 bottle caps, and will serve tacos, tostadas and grilled corn. Its expected to hit the streets in October. Following its launch, expect Frohmans Wursthaus, the beer and brats joint that will take up residence at the former Letto Deli on 13th Street, which is reportedly slated for November. It will feature housemade sausages of every imaginable stripe, frites, mussels, craft beers and more. [Restaurant Club]
