Words reaches Grub Street HQ today that Jason Rose resigned from his post as culinary director at the Tyler Florence Group, effective last Friday. The move comes rather suddenly, after Rose took the position in January and helped Florence to open Wayfare Tavern, as well as various other projects including a cookbook coming out later this year.
Rose tells Grub Street, “I wish nothing but the best for the Florence group moving forward,” and though he can’t yet reveal where he may be headed, he adds, “I’m very, very happy and have some interesting prospects.”
