In what’s undoubtedly the coolest things to make its way onto a local website since people in Philly first started blogging about food and restaurants, Arthur Etchells, the brains behind Foobooz, today introduced a new feature for his site, annotated menus. Much like the technology used for Google Maps, menus on the site that have been annotatedized have little markers next to items critics have commented on. Scroll over those markers while perusing the menu, and a little call-out bubble pops up with the comments from critics who’ve mentioned those dishes. Think of it as a little cheat sheet for diners. So far Garces Trading Company and Stephen Starr’s Pizzeria Stella have been given the annotation treatment. [Foobooz]
