Flatbread Company is finally set to open inside Sacco’s Bowl Haven in Somerville, reports Thrillist. The space still has 10 candlepin bowling lanes, but now features two domed wood-fire ovens, 180 seats, and a huge bar made from reclaimed bowling lanes. As the name implies, the menu consists of flatbread pizzas, including the Somerville Community Flatbread, with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and herbs. The restaurant will also have a focus on craft beer and cocktails, including 40 taps with predominantly Massachusetts’ brews.
