Though all Dodgers should be loved equally until traded, it’s hard not to feel a kinship with Andre Ethier, the fly-ball catching foodie who started his own L.A.-based food blog, Dining With ‘Dre. This Friday, the outfielder is showing off his good taste in food, and possibly art, by having the city’s chef-of-the-moment/future, Ludo Lefebvre, cater Ethier’s art show at Lindblade Lounge in Culver City. Ludo will prepare signature “bites” from 7:00 to 10:00 P.M. for just 50 guests while Ethier selects the music and debuts his new paintings. $99 tickets can be purchased online. Correction: While this is the same Ludo that foodies hold dear, it is not the same Andre Ethier of Dining with ‘Dre or The Dodgers, but a Canadian artist of the same name. [Grub Street]
