When Tizi Melloul closed its doors a month ago, the news was slightly dulled by the fact that one of the partners was just getting ready to open a new restaurant. That new restaurant turns out to be The Portage, a gastro-pub opening tomorrow in, where else, Portage Park. The menu features a mix of your usual pub fare like burgers and short ribs, along with a definite Southern bent including fried chicken, po’ boys, and barbecue. Check out the full menu below.
