Who else was a total cliché and went out for barbecue yesterday in celebration of the first day of summer? Well, instead of fulfilling some craving it actually made things worse. We need more. While we wait on the The Pork Shoppe to finally open (June 28 is the last opening date we heard), a new place just opened up. Smokey Bears Barbecue House sits up on Foster in North Park. Its menu contains the usual suspects of pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. No word on the sauce philosophy, but it looks red, thick, and delicious to us. Check out the full menu below.
