Now, this is weird. Just a week after BKLYN Yard announced that its landlord had ousted it, an e-mail from the guys behind the Sunday Best parties (Doug Singer, Justin Carter, and Eamon Harkin) indicates the weekly fêtes will return to 400 Carroll Street — “the place formerly known as BKLYN Yard.” A web post makes it official: “The space, formerly known as BKLYN Yard, as well as few other monikers over the years, is known now simply by its address, 400 Carroll Street.” That’s the good news. The bad news is this: “It’s running sans booze while proper permitting is secured (very soon!), but the vibe’s as good as ever.” On Sundays, at least! We’ll let you know when we hear more about the venue’s status.
