This just in: Sara Jenkins has made it official and signed the lease on her still-unnamed East 7th Street pasta restaurant. The Porchetta and Veloce Pizzeria chef hopes to open by the end of September. “But you know how these things go,” she says. “I’m struggling over the wine and beer application, trying to rope in more money, and ready to move to Maine!” In the meantime, Jenkins is test-driving a couple of spaghetti dishes over at Veloce.
