Nearly a year and a half after Santa Monica’s Santino’s was badly damaged in a fire, the Argentine-influenced tapas joint and wine bar is set to return to its original location. The building just emerged from its lengthy surgery and is back to a brick-red paint job. Santino’s bided its times by recently opening a panini shop in Venice, where the restaurant tell us to expect a re-opening at the original Lincoln location “in 30 days.” It will surely be welcomed back by the street’s regulars, where such unique, chill spots are outnumbered by thugged-out clubs and food-less frat fests.

Santino’s 3021 Lincoln Blvd. Santa Monica.
