Potrero Hill: Rocketfish Lounge, the aforementioned sushi bar and “tapistro” in the former Lingba space from former Blowfish chef Kenichi Kawashima that Grub Street broke the news about last month, now has its signage up, as well as a new Facebook page with some preview photos. [via Eater]
Cow Hollow: Our apologies for the Frenchie headline, but yes, Café Des Amis, from the Spruce folks and former Conduit chef Justin Deering, has its signs up and will open “in a few weeks” with a very French menu. [Chron, Scoop]
Mission: Zeitgeist has gotten rid of the porta-potties, gotten up to code. [Mission Mission]

Berkeley: Slow, a new self-service gourmet restaurant from chef Kyle Anderson (who’s worked with Charlie Trotter and Daniel Boulud), is set to open later this summer. [Diablo, Chron, Scoop]
Ferry Building: The line for Hapa Ramen at the farmers’ market was 40 deep by 11:45 a.m. today, and Richie Nakano has allegedly won some converts. [SFoodie]
