Ristorante Allegro, which we previously poked some fun at for its powerfully unimaginative name, opened last week. The new (you guessed it!) Italian eatery, from owners known for their earlier work in the valet parking business, takes over the former Breezy’s space at 409 Gough. Though we typically avoid quoting Yelp reviews, allow us to quote an early Yelp review: “This place belongs in Reno.”
