Though the talk today is all about which bars made Esquire’s Best Bars of 2010 list, we just got some news about Sheffield’s The Red Lion, which unfortunately closed shortly after it appeared on the 2009 list. Word on LTHForum is that the bar will be resurrected in Lincoln Square near near Rockwell and Lawrence, a spot we know quite well thanks to Nhu Lan. A Late June opening is being rumored, but nothing has been confirmed beyond the fact that the co-owner, sometimes bartender, and infamously slow barman (in a genuinely wonderful way) Colin Cordwell is involved.
