Milliken and Feniger Grand-Open Border Grill Stop Tomorrow

Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger will grand-open their Border Grill Stop tomorrow with a party from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M at Wilshire and Figueroa. Appearing alongside the duo will be a five-dollar tasting menu with cochinita pibil and grilled chicken tacos, plus green corn tamales, spicy caesar salad, and whatever else they feel like cooking. Feniger announces via press release that, “we’ve gone back to our origins as a taco stand,” while also adding salads, coffee, and sandwiches, as well as black cherry and root beer floats, to this street-side kiosk. Take a look at a few of Border Grill Stop’s signature dishes below, while the menu itself is unfixed and evolving. Daily specials and deals will be announced on the eatery’s Twitter page. And keep in mind, it’s cash-only if you want to sample the two hot Sues’ latest recipes tomorrow for just a five-spot.
